Field Notes

Short notes on operating drag before the fix is obvious.

Field Notes is a small support shelf for BaronOps thinking: handoffs, tools, owner decisions, delivery drag, follow-up, and the moment when another fix sounds plausible but the pressure area is not clear yet.

What Field Notes is

Field Notes explains the operating lens behind the Bottleneck Audit. The notes stay close to practical questions: what symptom is showing up first, what might be underneath it, what should be mapped before a fix is chosen, and what evidence would make the next step more responsible.

What Field Notes is not

Field Notes is not a case-study library, proof page, validated buyer-language bank, or separate content business. Unless a note is explicitly labeled otherwise, it should be treated as editorial support, not client evidence.

Topic areas

Small notes, close to the diagnostic route.

Before the fix

Notes on the moment before a business chooses a hire, tool, automation, CRM rebuild, SOP project, marketing push, or implementation partner.

Handoffs and ownership

Notes on where work gets passed, delayed, duplicated, or held in founder memory.

Tools and workflows

Notes on why a tool can look like the problem even when the operating surface needs inspection first.

Evidence and confidence

Notes on how to separate confirmed context, plausible inference, missing information, and next questions.
